The 2024 College Baseball season is quickly coming to a close, which means it's time to break down the latest NCAA College World Series odds.
Last year's College World Series was a showcase for top MLB prospect talent like Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews, so maybe we'll get some big names break onto the scene again this year. The Texas A&M Aggies and Arkansas Razorbacks have been the two teams clearly ahead of the pack all season, and remain on top in the latest odds:

Why Is Texas A&M Favored To Win The College World Series?
The Texas A&M Aggies have fallen out of Division 1 baseball's top spot in the last few rankings, due to a couple bag weekend series. The Aggies now own a 42-10 ranking on the season — which is great don't get me wrong. But, the're 2-2 in their last four games, which isn't a great trend here for dominance.
What still gives me confidence in the Aggies is Texas A&M's 11-5 record against other top-25 teams. That's the best record vs top-25s in the country, with many other top-10 teams not even having a winning record in those spots. The Aggies show up against big teams, and that's how you win the College World Series.
College World Series Best Bet: Arkansas
Last year, now-Pirate Paul Skenes was college baseball's most dominant starting pitcher, carrying his LSU Tigers to a ring. This year, that honor goes to Hagen Smith of Arkansas. He's posting a 1.36 ERA with a crazy strikeout rate, up near 17.0 K/9 on the year. Those numbers are both better than Skenes' final college year.
We saw how teams can ride a good pitcher like Skenes deep into the College World Series last year, and Smith has the capability to be that same horse.
It's not like this Razorbacks offense can't show up either, as they have four batters hitting over .300 right now and four different guys with at least seven homers.
Value Pick: Wake Forest
In MLB.com's latest mock draft, three different Demon Deacons are expected to be selected in the first 12 picks. They've got first baseman Nick Kurtz, arguably the country's best pure hitter, as well as top pitcher Chase Burns and another slugger in Seaver King. All three of those Wake Forest players are expected to be helping teams try to win MLB's World Series in the next few years.
That's as comparable top talent to any other team in the country. Add in the fact that this Wake program has been one of the best in the country over the last few years, and I'm betting they can push deep in the World Series this season.

What Is A Futures Bet On College World Series Odds?
When you visit your sportsbook of choice, you’ll see an option to bet on which team will win the College World Series. This kind of bet is a futures wager, which means you’re betting on events that will happen in time. You would see odds listed like this:
Unlike a moneyline bet, where there would be a clear favorite and underdog, the team with the lowest MLB World Series odds is the closest thing to a fave. In this case, it’s Tennessee and Vandy.
The lower teams on the oddsboard, though less likely to win, offer better value. If you were to bet $100 on Mississippi State and they won the College World Series, you’d get a payout of $1,600 – your original $100 is returned, along with your winnings of $1,500. On the other hand, the same bet amount on Tennessee would give you a payout of $475 – you get your $100 back, plus your loot of $375.
Our Odds Calculator can help you determine how much you’d pocket depending on the odds and the amount bet.
